Excavation of Hob's Barrow - Creepy as hell game that gets completely terrifying towards the end. I generally don't like horror games unless they've got a very strong story, and I loved this one.
One of my favorite things about Minecraft is that a lot of time and effort has been spent over the years trying to prevent 'floating sand' (without slowing worldgen down to a crawl).
In the end, the solution was to add a particle effect and imply it's intended.
