I went on an 8mi hike in Bryce Canyon when I was 7 mo pregnant. I didn't see another soul the whole time. It was a strange feeling being able to feel my child move and kick my belly, yet be completely alone. I tried to match that surreal tone in this work.

Just a few more details of the last work I finished.
Tree is a Bristlecone pine from California's White Mountains.

HARVEST MOON. Historic Moreton Bay Fig Tree, Founder's Park, CA. Looking back on some old works. I drew this when I first moved to LA. Rumor is that #Disneyland’s Swiss Family Treehouse is based upon this particular tree.
