@OliviaMHope It's SO beautiful - he's an Australian illustrator. He has synesthesia, so some of his books (including this one) also have musical scores... This one explores migration and friendship.
Today is #ChineseLanguageDay so let's celebrate some award-winning Chinese language picture books. These are the winners from last year’s Feng Zikai Picture Book awards: https://t.co/1UUnywAITJ @bmabhk #HongKong (For titles, authors & illustrators, pls see image tags) 😍
More of our favourite Winter & Christmas picture books - Robin's Winter Song by @suzannebarton0 - a beautiful, lyrical tale about changing seasons and the arrival of winter.
More of our favourite Winter & Christmas picture books - these both look at journeys and the importance of friendship & being with those you love: Iris & Isaac by @catherinerayner and Suzy Goose & The Christmas Star by @PHoracek
Looking at #ChineseEditions of translated picture books in my local HK bookshop today. Lights on Cotton Rock by @dc_litchfield looks fab! #HongKong
If only there were a picture book about this... 🐧 And Tango Makes Three... @simonschuster https://t.co/RQVXRrFc3y
@PhilipArdagh So many from Beatrix Potter. Especially Jemima Puddle-Duck and Mrs Tiggy-Winkle - I vividly remember certain scenes like these two. The stories (having re-read them to my children now) were very hazy in the re-telling!
