Mel: Mel is really immature, and is also stuck in the past. She has a really bad relationship with her family bc she hates how they've changed.

Tankei: she has abandonment issues, not her fault. But they make her act very hostile to new people and clingy with her friends. Also hates authority so much that even tho she is capable she can't advance her career bc she hates her superiors
