My lil' kobold is almost ready to retopo and such! Just gotta do the inside of his mouth, and smooth out where separate objects meet.

I'm really happy with him! First 3D project in years, and the very first thing I've done in Blender 2.9. Can't wait to see how he comes out!

So tonight I learned what Metaballs are and how to use them in blender to make stuff like hands, and HOO BOY my dudes is that a game changer!! It's ridiculous how much fun that is to play with, and I think his lil mitts came out pretty good for a first try!

Yep, this is absolutely fine. Done!

When I'm diving into learning stuff and I need a guinea pig to make a mess of, I default to kobolds.

I'm pretty happy with this super basic sculpt so far! Next I'mma tackle ways to make hands, then see about adding details. Wish me luck?

I'm discovering how much fun Blender is to sculpt in. Made this little nerd today to try out building a base mesh with the skin modifier, and I gotta say I'm liking it!

Right now he's a lump, but he's my lump. I'll share more as he starts to shape up!
