Philippe at war that I painted for the quarantine fanbook. It gave me a whole lot of trouble but I learned a lot. Mainly not to start painting without having a solid drawing underneath ever again.

I'm 100% gonna re-draw at least Philippe as a saluki because I want to see if it fits him better, but until then, here's the DUc d'OrlEans as a groenendael. (with court hair)

I'm trying to teach myself how to draw Philippe before attempting to animate him. It's hard to both capture the @vlavla -ness and keep it cartoony and simple. Chev studies coming tomorrow.

Day 4: Trying to finish all my March commissions so I can work all day on the spinoff. A rough animatic of the first couple of scenes should be ready within the next few days :D

aand that's 5 hours of me messing around because #monchevy has ruined my life in the past 2 months. I just hope their ghosts see and appreciate this lowly peasant's work. Also I hope the duc doesn't know that I call him Phil in my head.
