Lookie! Rin’s father! Using his younger form. I am proud of this picture’s shading and lighting.
@MLevare eeeeyup. the goddess herself. the lady who tries to erase all existence of her previous life so she can live happily with her dragon hubby. the otome game creator, my # 1 gal and second oldest character, Nari!!
*cue Cult of Luna music and cheers*
(sorry, this became a thread)
@ghostofwarz Mine was a character design cause i wanted to add the artist (Yukiandoki) to my “contact them in the future” list.
I figured out what to do with Rin’s many story notes:
Rin Catalogue.
Basic idea for Rin Catalogue 1 will introduce him, Argo, his friends and his job. The following will collect the scattered episodes of his life in a semi-organized fashion.
@TheRealDesastr aaand I think that’s it, but I can answer any questions. Don’t let the anime art style put you off. A lot of visual novels can have different appearances. A recent example I am think of is Fata Morgana (I heard this one is good).
@TheRealDesastr A standard “page”/dialogue in a VN looks like this:
(examples are Danganronpa, not sure what 2 is, Higurashi and Umineko)
some VNs have full screen text box. Most have the text box at the bottom.
@TheRealDesastr 3/?
Not every VN is a dating sim.
What I like about VNs is that they combine art and music. For certain scenes, a VN will have CG illustrations like these:
Rin’s ref sheet and what he looks like (his hair is supposed to cover his left eye)
Minimal Shift, Half Shift and Full Shift/Anthro forms.
