Shocking! I'm still undecided on Kel's hair color, we are back at sandy blonde -maybe it's dark blond that bleaches at the tips-

Edited the paper doll face a bit, much better, and added some blue strings to his braids for color.

Okay so I have said before that I like to imagine the VE tendrils as strings/hair ties, and in the case of Kel, they are mostly on his low ponytail, but I did add one on the high one so when it's loose it still keeps some blue.

I think I'm pretty close to matching Kel's concept hair color to my edits, noice

Someone wanted to commission something based on my designs for Nessa, specifically a braid, and also adding a solid blue section, and I am just living for how it's turning out!

You know? All elves need this chonky twin braid! NE, NB, BE and VE! All of them!!

Also we need a hood that is simply made to not hide hair!

Alright! so after my greyscale is done, then it's the fun of adding the gradient maps! those are mostly just done my feeling, tweaking things here and there, also some overlay-ed colors like the redness of the skin.

And now, final detailing!

And the first shading pass! Now I merge everything and start paint over :D
