Armor plates were revised to be more suitable for #3dprinted. Inner frame is made more sturdy and details were added
Normally a mech design looked rather dull on screen but became "alive" after painted and posed. However, this guy already look interesting just standing threre.
I used to do industrial product design for a certain company in the past. Now that I am teaching children how to make robots I am putting my experice to good use. My robot is very affordable, easy to code and only need 7 hours on a 3D printer to build.
The design is starting to take turn into an interesting direction.
Practice make perfect.
I actually don't understant how to use Gaussion brush....
Design work I did for Project Nimbus years ago. Since I did almost everything from concept to modeling I didn't have to be super precise with the sketch. most of the details were done at modeling / texturing process. I am quite proud of this
Unfortunately, I have to abide by the rule of real world physics and had to compromise my design. It still looks OK though
Simple drawing over the inner frame to give me some idea of possible shapes. If I am not sure where my pieces will go I will just do this quickly (40 - 60 min work)
