@RebelMaren And of course it was the birth year of Headphone Hero, who for now is sort of my flagship OC.

@RebelMaren 2017. The end of this year is when I personally feel like I started taking art seriously again, so a restrospective there is less interesting IMO. Some cool bits from early 2017 here though I think; including a character prototype and subsequent redesign c:

2015 - Also nothing. Either dead harddisk or dissertation took up most of my time there.

2016 however there's a ton of stuff. It's also when I took part inf my first game-jam with Untitled Hacking Themed Game. Also a bunch of characters some of which have stuck about!

2012 - The year the world ended. Or well my world sorta ended cause PSO2 rolled on in and decided I didn't like having free time.

I swear that sprite is a pokemon trace but I'm not sure who I traced over...

With the decade ending, I thought it'd be fun to have a little retrospective of my art through the decade.

My old stuff is hard to find, but here's some stuff from 2011; the earliest I can find from this decade (curiously, I see some stuff from like 2008 but none from 2010)

@mayqi6 Thanks for the thread! Here's Headphone Hero & Aura; combat robots built to replace flesh-and-blood heroes. Headphone is peppy, positive and completely naive. Aura is cynical, distrusting and serious, Both think they're the only bot for the job, til they find each other...
