@Nyanoraptor I'm... not actually all that sure, admittedly? I guess beyond mostly drawing inflatable critters, I tend to go for soft, colourful-looking shading.
Also, backgrounds are hard, sparkly colour voids go brr. (Usually.)
Here's a balloon Avali OC I drew last night! Still thinking up a name for 'em, but they're yet another organic-turned-squeaky critter - fresh out of the matter conversion chamber here, in fact. Looking at your hand to find it's now shiny, inflated latex must be quite a surprise~
@CantieLabs Didn't see the post until now, whoops. Anyway, if this is still open, here's some of my critters if any of 'em interest you! Feel free to take your pick. ^^;
@Taranimart Exactly! Being flesh and living on Earth is overrated. Becoming a balloon and chilling out on a space station? Muuuuuch better~
(Both pics by @/Balloondra)
@Taranimart Not yet a mutual, but I've got pleeeeeenty of characters at the ready. Some with, let's say... *larger hitboxes* than others~
(Also I totally forgot Cobalt's beam sword was a thing. I should draw some action shots with it holding that, at some point.)
@ShuffleStuf Here's two I've drawn recently! In my experience, focusing on round shapes is a good way to show that inflatable look. Doesn't even have to be necessarily *big* - just utilising smooth, round shapes and avoiding sharp corners & straight lines where possible.
@Taranimart I don't have a pic of Lustre from behind, but hey, that rear's still big enough to see from the front~
Wow, I've been on a ROLL with art lately. Here's another new OC, Latte! A pooltoy Floatzel gal with some neat goggles, as well as heating elements through her soft vinyl surface - making her warm and cuddly to the touch~.
Here's a quick little doodle of Lustre I did! Just putting that magic-filled, paintbrush-like mane to work~
