Apparently they copied the character images directly from RayWiki for the Jungle Run rewards lol
These are also the Legends renders, while Jungle Run uses the Origins ones
Ever wanted to try out the Rayman 2 2D prototype? I've now made a patch for the PS1 version of Rayman 2 which automatically loads it, skipping the lum requirement:

I was looking through the Jaguar R1 demo and noticed two additional world map nodes were defined. The first image shows how it looks in-game and the second image the position of all the defined nodes from the rom.
Clark was originally meant to appear in the game. Here's an early design for him.
Here are some more comparisons between the GBC and PocketPC versions (thread)
Rayman GBC random trivia thread:
Using the Ubi Key in R1 GBC you can unlock the Ubi Cliff level
And now Spyro's Adventure/Attack of the Rhynocs is supported as well (it runs on the same engine, but an earlier version)! This game has way more maps than Hoodlums' Revenge due to it having so many side areas. https://t.co/SLLqRWFhMi
RRR GBA has an unused Mode7 race track map, in a different format from the final ones. Interestingly it contains sprites for Rayman in a shoe, rather than in different vehicles like the final versions.
I can't believe it worked, but since the N-Gage version of R3 has the same format as the GBA version I actually managed to port over the N-Gage version to the GBA.
There seems to be a lot of love for R3 GBA!
This might be a good time to announce that the Ray1Map project is going to expand to support all tilebased Rayman games, including the GBC/GBA games.
I recently started by extracting the vignette from the R3 rom. https://t.co/AX0mUiE8Ia
