The original Rayman 2 (2D) prototype had many characters and enemies that were just scrapped from the final 3D game altogether. Not much is known about most of them.

Rayman M/Arena was originally two different projects, named "Rayman Tribe" and "Rayman Shooting Fish". Tribe was the racing part, and Fish was the battle part.
