Reusability Flight Experiment (ReFEx) is a small tech demonstrator for VTHL by DLR which is slated for a flight test this year.
ReFEx is about 2.7 m in length, has a wingspan of about 1.1 m and has a mass of approx. 450kg.

My fav part is definitely the second stage. It looks very "Utilitarian" , barebones, built to do exactly what it needs to do.

Current Mars Sample Return mission architecture and the most up to date concept of the Capture and Orient Module (COM) of the Earth Return Orbiter(ERO).
This mission though, is still in it's concept studies stage as of March 2020.
