#FlockOfArtists One of my first illustrations jobs was for a wetlands interactive discovery center. For this display, you had to match the bird's bill to the type of food it eats. I also painted all the food - frogs, fish, bugs, pond weed, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I don't know much about this pretty little wine-red beetle, other than I believe it lives in Peru. Cyclopeplus peruvianus is 10-14 mm in size, and has quite an impressive set of antennae.
