A Silent Voice: The attempted suicide in the film... The feeling of not being worthy enough, having immense amounts of guilt, these rushes of negative emotions, thinking everyone would be better without me, these were thoughts I've had in the past. Thankfully, I'm still here.

Free! Eternal Summer: This show helped to motivate me to follow my career path of becoming an educator with its Makoto episode. Seeing Makoto bonding with these kids and, through that, striving to become a teacher after this experience, is something I deeply connected with.

Its been one year since the KyoAni arson and I know its affected many of us deeply. I wanted to spend some time in this thread to mention a few of their works and how I was able to emotionally connect with them. Ultimately, this is my way of thanking KyoAni for all they've done.

One of my favorite aspects of Hibike Euphonium is its focus on improvement. You have characters like Kumiko, Asuka, Natsuki, Kaori, and others who work their asses off to become better players and try to overcome the frustrations that come with the desire to achieve excellence.
