He should just be like his teenage self, because yeah, mutantkind is in danger, but what else is new? Since when is self-preservation their primary goal? They're supposed to be the friggin' X-Men, for god's sake. ⏬
Not only is he doing the same thing that everyone they'd been fighting had done, he's also allied with them, following their orders as a soldier, as their captain. ⏬
