@EclipseMeteor @majin_shinsa @hothqueenofsnow Unless I'm overlooking something, Dreams of the Dead is the only other U-only card that can return a creature to the battlefield from a graveyard, and it only works on W or B ones. Next closest is...Back From the Brink? Fool's Demise is a pretty sweet card considering.

And last I want to mention Spider-Man Blue, by Jeph Loeb and Time Sale. Like Cooke, they just "get" how to make a modern comic feel like its from another era. And hey look the Vulture screws up a love triangle again 😂.

In conclusion, 2002 was awesome for Spider stuff! 10/10

Darwyn Cooke's Valentine's issue is my favourite of the year, very much embracing the classic feel of the Parker Luck. Two beautiful women or the Vulture? There is sadly no choice. 8/10

While Amazing was breaking from tradition, Ultimate Spider-Man (featuring a alternate universe 15 year old Parker) was trying to redefine it. It featured a very different - very welcome - relationship between Peter and May. Spider-Man fans had it all in 2002. 6/10
