Even though he believed Sephiroth had in fact killed Tifa, Cloud never shows the kind of emotional distress that renders him unable to pursue Sephiroth. In fact, Cloud apparently leaves Tifa's dead body & instead continues his pursuit of Sephiroth.⬇️

Before we make the comparison, here is an interesting fact. Romeo & Juliet, staring Leonardo Di'Caprio & Claire Danes was released in 1996. One year before FFVII would reach the shelves.⬇️

Just after saying this, Aerith appears lost, sad & hesitant just before Cloud says "embrace this moment right" Now we all know what comes next however, why did Aerith hesitate? What was going through her mind in that moment? What was she feeling?⬇️
