1. Retro's horns also sort of act like ears, as you can see here in this old ref sheet. They raise when he's angry/alerted, and go down when he's said or depressed.

I'll always be proud of this Pokemon doodle I made in high school. It started with the Scraggy in the middle since I knew I was gonna fail my math test so I turned it over and started sketching. When I got home, I drew over it in Adobe Flash with a mouse and kept going. No refs

Their name is Dozirc (BullDozer + Zirconium). Kinda fitting to drop this after seeing Metroid Dread's enemy E.M.M.I come out today. (They are canonically BFs ty)
