There's a thrill at finally getting on the path to something after just ramming your head into the wall seemingly forever. Obviously, it's still just islands and oceans, but at least it feels like I briefly beat this horrendous slump I'm in, if only for just a split second.

Aujourd'hui, Mouse est morte.

Its little laser beam stopped working, so now I'm back to my old Wacom mouse, and I now remember why I stopped using it all those years ago--it randomly double clicks when you try to single-click, pretty annoying. Always miss a good mouse, farewell.

I started painting mountains and oceans and stuff as a sort of exercise to get me out of ruts, but then it sorta became one itself...
