Did a pin-up and dark skin study in photoshop. You ever just use brushes that mimic oil paint and go "Oh.. I fucking get it now."?

Thinking of removing the 'Cel-Shade' option from my commission sheet, and lowering prices on 'Semi-Realism' - I render SR faster than CS, and enjoy it more. At the moment I charge far less for CS, but it's more work for me.

Very rough WIP of painting that Yukari sketch, but I decided to try the painting process in a different way. My background is in more impressionist painting, so I'm experimenting to see if I can create it with that kind of essence, and eventually render it into something clean!
