Very rough WIP of painting that Yukari sketch, but I decided to try the painting process in a different way. My background is in more impressionist painting, so I'm experimenting to see if I can create it with that kind of essence, and eventually render it into something clean!

I wanted to paint the sword and shield water gym leader Nessa in a more vulnerable, compassionate state while she interacts with her Pokemon. It was a great chance to work on my cel-shading technique!
