Went digging through my stash and found pages from the Sonic webcomic I started & burnt out on back in 2018, as I was moving into my prior sh!tty living situation. Finding myself missing this - had a lot of fun designs + dynamic whatsits happening

Experimenting with that Rebelle art tool that's on sale for a few more days (normally $150-$200? knocked down to $10!! that's insane!!) b/c it was too good of a deal to pass up, and now I want to use this to paint all my backgrounds and textures. It's a delightful program so far

It's not the most comfortable of setups (yet), but I can still draw here, so we're good to go, more or less. Looking forward to getting back to it

This in particular makes me smile - bringing up stuff from almost a decade ago and comparing it to something very recent, and a lot has stayed the same, but not in a bad way. Just got more refined! Also, lmao, that's character growth. Sweet Nothings -> Flights O'Fancy

2014-2015 era of pony art for me was pretty good, it looks like, a lot of these have been lost for a while and there's some good ideas in here. Esp the 1st Luna one, where I'd just scribbled b/c I knew my skills couldn't match the vision at the time. Maybe they could now, though.
