More WIP shots! Looking for constructive criticism on what's here, ignoring Akar's ears and both bg's for the moment.
Known problem spots:
-Lighting reflections on the skin/fangs
-Horns (god why. these are so hard)
-Stronger shadows
-Edges of the hair
Beyond that, hit me!
Executive dysfunction wrecked my ass today but at least I was able to play with colors some😔
A while back I updated Akar's tats in writing, but never got around to making a visual ref. Narrowed the big ones on his back down to an approximation of the Venthyr mark, and I dig it
Well that's rather enlightening, if unsurprising https://t.co/8wWf0MsHTR
Ope, time for greenbean! Using this to try and get my mojo going/any semblance of productivity, and so far, we're starting to get somewhere. Painting frightens me, that's why I'm doing it
Colors are a strong suit, but the process is not
It's a Hyperfixate On Warm Colors day, so here we go, flailing at the rendering little by little
(A good cure for a positively awful mood, tbh)
Late night thumbnailing for paintings I want to do, posted at ass o'clock - realized far too late that Raam had kind of a memey expression, but oh well, too late now!
Just trying to get into that momentum of laying colors down quick and easy-like. Gonna have fun w/ these!
[Torghast Shenanigans Intensifies]
I love this horrible tower and the stupid things it lets us do
@tutterypuff The Quel'dorei Steed is currently as close as we have, plus some extra rhino-like horns, but it's not the same, I know 8( also it's got like ten whole polygons
Clearing out WIPs and makin' new TRP links! Gargoyle Elf Patch Update ???: Better Teeth. Soak up enough Venthyr magic, and, well...
Akarrei is shaping up to be my Shadowlands main pretty quick, and few things give me more joy than partaking of SW weirdness on a quiet night. :]
I fck'd up the formatting here, so let me split it so twitter doesn't kill it - Had to get Raam into the Shadowlands somehow, so I dumped him into the tampered-with portal his Order took, and he's just going to have to deal with whatever he finds on the other side like a big boy
