Since a fair bit of the talks regarding Pyro have been about its face, I'd like to balance it out with a reminder that ignoring the face, our greatest W from this movie is a feathered raptor nearing paleoart-level quality that's already changin minds on feathered dinos. Big W.
Haven't posted much art since Photoshop seems to have gone to be losing its mind these days. It's a RAM-eating atrocity.
Anyway, have a WIP of a commission.
Honestly, Trex looks really cool from low angles like this.

If I had a nickle for every time South America (aka the best continent ever) had a giant, quadrupedal, apex predator crocodile, then I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
First Triassic, then Eocene.

Since I'm going through a motivational drought, I'm just gonna waste my time editing pictures.
Originals on the left, edits on the right.
Also, another really good W we haven't talked about. They finally made a herbivore that doesn't have human molars.
they referenced actual theri skulls. It has the general head shape of Erlikosaurus, especially if you note the downturned beak with its "giga-chad"-ish pointy beak. (2/2)
Black sclera + Bright orange/yellow iris is peak character design and I will never get tired of it.
LEONARDO!!!
I was gonna draw Sid and Nancy too but I forgot
