@ARuebenstahl Actually no, GSP got it wrong it seems. The choanae on the actual skull seem to be pretty posteriorly placed. They end right with the teeth.
Currently reading the Scarlet Spider II comics. Always loved the design of this Spider Man so I decided to actually take a look at his story and I'm loving how it's a "great power, no responsibility" take on the character. Guy's absolutely brutal.
I wouldn't say I'm known for any of my art but these ones in particular were really well liked. https://t.co/fSCstphopT
Walrus monster commission!
Body of a walrus, head of a placerias, gills of axolotl, flippers of... JWE Liopleurodon? and the old standard mosasaur tail.
Fun little fact that is kinda-ish, sorta-ish common-ish knowledge that I wasn't fully aware of until a few days ago: most Oviraptor reconstructions you see are actually based on an unnamed Oviraptorid specimen and not Oviraptor.
Link to a blog below that explains this a bit.
Update of the Tyrannornis imperator commission.
The giant, macro-predatory terror bird from the future now has a female companion too!
It's the 50th anniversary of the discovery of Megistotherium! One of the biggest Hyaenodonts to exist, a real-life Warg.
Granted this size is eyeballed with comparisons between other size charts with different perspectives at play.
But holy crap, size comparisons become absolutely terrifying once you're not staring at an orthographic size chart.
