Hanasaku Iroha - Teenage girl starts working at a hotel/hot spring! It’s one of those well made teenage slice of life dramas that I really don’t see get made that much anymore!!! It’s really good tbh

Mawaru Penguindrum - it was so weird, so thematically messy, sometimes incomprehensible!!!! But also an AMAZING RIDE!!!

Made in Abyss - they built such a good lore! The abyss was genuinely scary and chilling!!!! A really really well made series

Showa Genroku Rakugou Shinjuu: This might be a hardsell to some people, but this is one of my all time anime! The way they wrote characters, they gave compassion to everyone’s faults!!! They made me care abt a form of theater I would not care abt!Definitely one of the best

From the New World: probably one of the most visually imaginative anime of all time. The story was crazy good that each episode felt like 2 minutes long?? Also great suspense/horror. It featured what I would say the best villain in anime!!! Makes u question HUMANITY
