Webbing was on my list for tonight. I added some foot and leg details to the ruddy duck's foot / leg and started adding a bit more dark shadow to the lower tail for preparation in adding the lighter lower tail feathers.

Here's the stopping point for the roseate spoonbill in water for today. I'll start back on it again when it's more dry. Pretty good progress for now.

I got a chance to work on the box a little more tonight. It's the the color blocking stages so it will look a bit cartoon like for a while until I can get more coats done.

Finally finished! A million petals later and I'm done with this Costa's hummingbird with allium flowers. I'll send this to the printers and then the original will be for sale soon. I'll post when available.

Creating a Cohesive Background
The left before the branch, the middle, and the right after the kite now all have the scrub grass with flowers. This pattern of grasses helps to create the idea that there's a definitive fauna flora where this white tailed kite lives.
