another one for the carousel - the #Bluebuck. if you don't recognize this animal, don't beat yourself up about it - it was the first large African mammal to go extinct, and only four skins exist today.
she's finished! honestly the hardest part of these illustrations is designing the fancy carousel trappings - i think mine might lean a little more towards the realistic side than what you see on a lot of carousels...

(WIP) here comes a special girl! progress on this project feels slow because of all the research. but things are coming together!
some Holtark expressions! I love drawing expressions...if I could make a living as an artist drawing JUST faces and hands I'd probably do that haha
the first artwork for my extinct animals project is complete! ...sort of. I still can't decide whether to go with the well-known Dodo plumage popularized by Savey, or the possibly-more-accurate version painted from life by Manur. for now, here are both versions.
a little preview of my piece for @bigcatzine ! it's nearly complete and I can't wait to see it together with the finished zine in all its feline glory!
THIS was quite the project - a series of moments from my work-in-progress comic, Turning Tides, in which two aliens from warring races join together to try to rediscover their joint history and reunite their people.
