秦のこころ is only able to express emotions through her masks, with each one corresponding to a different emotion. These emotions also affect the people around her, and loss of a mask means she can’t feel that emotion.

秦のこころ is a menreiki (面霊気), which is a type of youkai born from tools or objects that have been discarded. The 66 masks she’s comprised of were used by Hata no Kawakatsu (秦河勝), whose six performances brought peace to the land.

Also I feel like I really understand the shoulder and how it attaches to the torso wayyyyy better because of anatomy

It's interesting how much more they blend than CSP's oil paint brushes, which is kinda the opposite of my experiences with both mediums irl
