THE DAY THE EARTH LOOKED STUPID: It's 1938 and T̶h̶e̶ ̶B̶r̶a̶i̶n̶ Orson Welles is doing his radio version of War of the Worlds. Among all the 30s gags, the residents of Springfield believe it to be real and loot and pretend to be animals.
Then real aliens invade.
SURVIVAL OF THE FATTEST: Burns hunts the deadliest game of all: the men of Springfield!
Lots of fun deaths and great visual gags. Simple and effective
TREEHOUSE OF HORROR XVI: These opening shorts are all pretty good. This one takes the baseball announcer says anything jokes between Harry Shearer and Hank Azaria that ended up becoming Brockmeier and it all results in the end of the universe.
Also we see God's face
Remembered this Star Bright Halloween drawing @aliceincaves did in er... 2016? I still love it. I actually have Star dressed as a witch in Animal Crossing at the moment lol
HOMER³: The one with 3D Homer. Legendary. The 3D animation still holds up due to the stylisation IMO. It came out THREE WEEKS before Toy Story, and the studio that made it ended up being part of Dreamworks.
Amazing Professor Frink usage as well. I sometimes say Frinkahedron
Thinking about how 8-bit Sonic 2 hoodwinked kids everywhere into thinking the game would appreciably feature Tails, and then punished their misconception by being hard as balls
