You can bemoan the weight of your crown, but if you cling to it at every opportunity to let it go, eventually the claim rings hollow.

This was supposed to be another color experiment, but it took on a mind of its own. Could render it more, but tablet is at 3%, so calling it done

...and suddenly it’s almost 1 am. Whoops.

I think the secret to improving any skill is finding the kinds of practice that brings you joy, so you just want to do it and learn things as almost a byproduct.

Color experiments continue to go well

I was going to use that yellow to make a cheery sun. It did not become a cheery sun.

Trying the same exercise with having a color that is darker, one in the middle, one lighter. Took a little more time with it (~20 min)

It turns out 10 minute limited color experiments are 100% my jam. Thank you for the suggestion @Doonami! I’m excited to try more of these. Nice to get out of the perfectionism mindset and just play with shape and color. Set the digital brush to oil paint, used my finger to draw

Playing Tangle Tower which is a point and click murder mystery. I am very charmed. Illustrations and character animation is lovely, soundtrack is great for ambiance, puzzles are just challenging enough that I am neither bored or frustrated, and I am intrigued by the story.

What if this whole time, I haven’t been thinking about eyes? What if I haven’t been thinking about eyes at all?
