@mrjamesmayhew So many favourites - but this gets me every time. From @MichaelRosenYes Sad Book. It sums up grief and carrying on for me. I absolutely love his hospital murals too.
@emmaclarkeillu1 The Abominables covers most of these - my Y2/3/4 class loved it. I would say The Explorer if your child were a bit older - but worth checking out anyway - it’s brilliant.
Some Sunday musings from this #Devizes woman. @sueperkins @caitlinmoran #HandsOffOurBodiesDanny
@RobCrossley4 @BarringtonStoke Have you read Needle yet Rob? Loved it! Another great @BarringtonStoke book.
I finished While the Storm Rages last night and have just finished The Boy Who Made Everyone Laugh - both absolutely brilliant. ❤️📚I’ve finished reading - but not digesting! Thank you @philearle and @HelenRutterUK
#BookIllustrationOfTheDayParty22 This illustration, by the incredible #levipinfold just makes my heart skip. Reading Black Dog is like walking round a brilliantly curated gallery. ❤️ @mrjamesmayhew #blackdog
Absolutely loving When the War Came Home and realise it’s the first time I’ve ever seen the word twp written down - despite it being used extensively at home as I grew up! It took a while to click.💡Twp? 😂@WelshDragonParr
