What better way to celebrate my birthday than a gift to all of you - a new Deep Unknown comic!
In this installment, the Vessel gets lost, and the Deacon of Hands puts his new invention to the test.
Currently rethinking the lineart on this, so here's the raw sketch in case I take too long to come back to it :V
...And I just realized Twitter physically reduced the pixel size of these to fit their limits and made everything smaller. That's embarrassing.
So here's the main BG scenes I was concerned about.
That being said, I did make considerable progress on the original audition before disliking where it was going.
I'm posting what I got done here, half to show that I was serious about it, and half to preserve what background work I got done, because backgrounds are fickle things.

Eni - Coming Eventually
Yesterday I posted the Proof of Concept trailer for Eni to YouTube, but kinda made a lackluster tweet promoting it.
Hopefully this one will be more interesting and less likely of being suppressed by the dreaded algorithm.

Last few months have been a flurry of production for Eni. Still a long way to go until completion, but we've gotten this far.
I am now at the point of developing a more or less "Proof of Concept" trailer, which has introduced me to my next hurdle on this adventure: Video editing.

Last year I revamped my old sona design, which quickly turned into a new world, identity, and set of ideas to build off. I made this to celebrate the occasion, and also gave it a title.
Happy (Almost) one-year anniversary to the start of The Deep Unknown!

New Comic!
In this month's canonical installment, the Vessel discovers a peculiar object in the ruins, and learns more of its true purpose.
