"Follow Sméagol! He can take you through the marshes, through the mists, nice thick mists. Follow Sméagol very carefully, and you may go a long way, quite a long way, before He catches you, yes perhaps."

'Thalia’ another custom piece painted as a Kickstarter reward. I was asked to paint this Greek Goddess by a backer who has a daughter of the same name. Being the muse of comedy I've depicted her entertaining #Yendor with an impressive balancing act upon Pegasus - in flight!

The goblins are having a night off. So instead I give you 'The Sea Chariot of Rowernarc', a scene from Michael Moorcock's 'Phoenix in Obsidian'. Painted in 1977, it was one of 12 images commissioned by Big O to be published as posters & a calendar (Wizardry & Wild Romance 1978)
I think the retro feeling is here to stay for a while!
This one is 'Twelve Towers at Dawn' - another one of my "squabbling goblins" designs. Painted in 1975, using inks and gouache, it was my fourth poster commission for Big O
