@TAGASAING I think Crow from Destiny 2 matches this. Originally an antagonist in Destiny 1 (his name was originally Uldren Sov), he ends up dying in D2 and is reborn as a guardian with no memory of who he was. It's implied that you killed Uldren but you are mentoring him now as Crow.
