Anyway, she's my art crush for today. I've tried to find a book of her collected works, but there doesn't seem to be one, which makes me sad.
I was googling botanical art and I ran across this printmaker named Mabel Royds. She was an English artist, born in 1874, who won a scholarship to London's Royal Academy at 15. I can't get over this art 😍 The composition is amazing, and she individually painted each print block.
I've been posting and reposting this comic I made for @thenib since 2015 and it just keeps being relevant 🤔

More flower art therapy. A greater yellow lady’s slipper looking moody.
Four days until my first graphic novel comes out, and I’m pretty excited. It’s about the solar system, for ages 9-12, w art by @jon_chad. Here are some gloriously out of context panels! Preorder here: https://t.co/yFuh1z1uwk
A lil Canada Jay with some fireweed flowers and spruce.
So glad that #visiblewomen is back! I’m Rosemary and I make nature-themed art, comics, and charts. You are all so inspiring.
A California Scrub Jay with some scrub oak and a cool wildflower called Ithuriel's Spear.
Need some bird art for your nest? I'm selling these warbler & plant designs as a four-pack of prints. https://t.co/VW6ETTakOV
Yes, there’s a cold snap, but global temperatures right now look an awful lot like this comic I did for @thenib two years ago. We North Americans are alone in our icy prison. https://t.co/HjU5CIHPuY
