That's just a thought, it could well be cels in later Roobarb. It's a shame Godfrey never bothered to preserve any of the artwork. Once it was shot, he apparently wasn't bothered what happened to the art.

Who was this cartoonist? One of the last really good Beano artists among David Mostyn and Tom Paterson in the 90's.

Two “Knight Foxglove” comics from around June 2016, both left unfinished after discovering that before one gets drawing, a story is required. Still have plans for this daft lot, just have to wait and see what becomes of them!
