Some notes, I tried to "ghost" the image of our Malaysian flag via the crescent moon and the striping on the house. During the painting process I came up with the tv antenna idea for the 14 point star. I ended up flipping the street to better the composition.

Also for fun, here's some initial sketches before the final was chosen. I try to have a pretty solid value sketch beforehand.

Some recent illustrations I completed for a article written for @QueerLapis, a local queer publication about How Lesbianism became a crime in Malaysia. The article will be linked in the thread.

Been a while, but I bring manga recs! Bright and Cheery Amnesia by Oku Tamamushi deals with girlfriends Ari and Mari navigating Ari's amnesia. The good news is they're head over heels for each other, memories or not. Incredibly cute and relatable read! That suit on Mari is <3!
