The side effect is that you can very easily collect duplicated items. It makes the Taco quest easier to win. It allows you to potentially ruin characters with duplicated battle skills, and also disrupts how camera photos are saved. Very strange design choice.

The reason we have circle avatars is because the border-radius caps at 100px which means if it could get worse it totally would and there's nothing you can do to stop it
