On the topic of X4 we have the addition of zero as a fully playable character and yes X3 you could use him but it was more of a power up seeing as he can't fight bosses and if he dies he dies for good. But in X4 he's got his whole new gameplay of close combat no range at all.

With the classic series done let's move on to the X series considered the best of the series (for good reason)
