I think something like this gives a better feel for the stuff I’d like to be doing, but then it doesn’t reflect the two projects I have currently in print - Stomped & Milagro.

One thing I’ve learned doing these sketch cards is that 10 shades of purple or green is not enough. Trying to figure out how to blend markers without it turning muddy.

I like how the tree turned o it behind Straw Man. I wish I was more confident making bold color choices for dramatic ambient lighting on the characters.
