21) I’ve been drawing exclusively in the @Procreate app since getting my iPad Pro a few years back. Literally changed my life.
19) I typically feel inspired by artists whose work I admire. I have eclectic taste so there are many artists whose work I love but don’t want to imitate. I will admit to a bit of jealousy when I see indie artists ahead of me in their career and wishing I had the same success.
16) I love animals so much I think I could draw just about anything from memory somewhat convincingly. This obviously helps a lot with convincing creature design.
First picture below is from 2004, high school!
“The Wake” pages 1 & 2, line art by @LVCIFERX Joshua Green, colors by me. A days work for a rescue team following a daikaiju’s path of destruction. 3/3
Here are all the preview pages for STOMPED Issue 3.
Help us bring this kaiju comic anthology to life on Kickstarter!

Cover Art & “Eye For An Eye” pages 1-3, drawn by me. A team of scientists try to collect tissue samples from a living daikaiju. 1/3
Next up is a grayscale, 6x9” traditional commission by me. Any character you’d like (doesn’t have to be a giant monster). OC’s with existing reference are fine! Only $75 - cheaper than my usual asking price, plus you get the comic! Only 15 left. #Kickstarter #kaiju
9) I draw things I want to draw and share most of it in hope of connecting with people who have similar taste & interest. I prefer when commission requests are things in my wheelhouse, but sometimes I get to stretch outside my norm and it’s always a great learning experience.
4) Monsters.
To be honest, most of my childhood and teen years I was too embarrassed to draw women. So drawing sexy ladies is fun, even though story comes first and I don’t really want to be known primarily as a “pinup” guy.
2) I’ve been drawing since I could hold a crayon or marker in my hand. It’s a compulsion I’ve had my entire life, drawing to bring story ideas to life.
Bill the Platypus is a character I created in 2nd grade. L is from 1999, R from 2019.
