I think I may have underestimated the appeal of Kim Corgan, the pink haired, tattooed, kaiju punching badass from issue one. I’m writing a miniseries about her origins... but I do have some story ideas that aren’t directly connected to the larger plot line.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever drawn Robin. #BatmanDay

Apparently it’s #BatmanDay again? He’s a very serious character, to be taken very seriously.

Looking at these pages now, there’s almost nothing I like about them. Composition, style, everything is a mess. But they did prompt an artist to suggest I check out Sergio Toppi, so there’s a positive.

One final bit of watercolor that I think serves as a subtle improvement. Next step will be going back over the black line art (which got muddled up in this process) and then adding some white ocean mist.
