Asahina in particular one of my favorite characters - not the smartest, but not dumb either. Just down to earth and a normal person that values her friends and wants to see everyone get out okay. The real heart of the DR1 survivors. ❤️

But getting to know her, you learn she presents as such to bashfully cling to her femininity in spite of her immense strength. By the end taking her 100% seriously as a noble, selfless person ;_;

I think I figured out why I don't like DR2's cast as much as 1. The number of characters which are overwhelmingly consumed by a single quirk and used for over the top gags has been greatly increased, who naturally are more one-dimensional, and harder to relate with
