Its writing ranges from mediocre to garbage, lots of characters are insufferable, there's boob jokes galore, and it's got every cliché in the book, but my god is it entertaining because of it. Also, I just really love the style + the bug motifs.
I’ve been seeing so many writing vs enjoyment takes recently, and it’s just ridiculous that people see these as mutually exclusive terms. For me, analyzing a work is half the enjoyment. “Turning my brain off” doesn’t remotely give me the same experience as critical engagement. 🧵
Anyone want to share some Gintama episodes they find underrated or just not talked about a lot? Here's some of mine:

It's a really weird feeling to explain. I will say, however, I love so many of the Gen 3 Pokémon designs. I don't really dislike a lot of Pokémon designs in general, but I do think Hoenn has some really quality stuff. Easily my favorite set of fossils even though they're (3)
Why yes, I love inherently comedic stories that are also able to have real emotional weight, typically involving some statement on the human race or how we interact as people. Why did you ask?
Yoooo
Did Take design these folks? The art style seems pretty different from other characters, and it fits with her work.
Regardless, I love Take so much man,,

I drew @Twiins_iink’s character for Aquarius! I love this dude’s design a lot, especially since I have an affinity for long-haired non-female characters. I couldn’t figure out how to work in the vase, but I remember her talking about bubble powers, so we have bubbles.
