The Divine and N.E.T.T. are the balancing forces in Ryden's lore.
The Divine is a secretive organization of neosapiens (people with powers) who utilize their influence and networks to succeed. Whereas N.E.T.T. is a U.N. sanctioned super team built to stop The Divine's progress.

On the planet, Eyraluo, there are three kingdoms. The monarch of each kingdom has earned one of the following blades, cementing their right to the throne.
Aithe, Ekrom and Deitis respectively, the owner of each blade is not only gifted a kingdom, but incredible powers.
