Canvas or paper?I make an average of only 1-2 pieces a year on canvas and the passage from paper board to canvas takes a while..still, I wish I had done more , when I see one hanging it has a peculiar plus to my eyes.. is it me only or should I consider using it more often??
A while ago I decided to focus on covers and illustrations only. I have never regretted this choice so far, as it became clear to me I wanted to paint first, use colors, being able to experiment more... The only times I miss doing interiors it is when I see the double-pages...
My latest completed painting: Spider-Man, inspired by a Moebius-Venetian setting, with an unusual color palette for me. A 18’x24’piece and most of all one of the cases when the final result is just the one I had in mind.
