While some shots WERE 16:9 cropped to 4:3, many shots are actually cropped FROM 4:3 in the 16:9 version, meaning the 4:3 version is partially open matte.

@nescartridges I think my main issue with the older design is how it's almost never been translated into 3D well at all, the low poly PS1 models look fine, but stuff like Wrath of Cortex and ESPECIALLY N-Sane show to me that you REALLY need to take care putting this model in 3D

@LilyKangaroo Just gonna say it. This shit right here? Genuinely one of the best animated movies out there. Not even taking my Shin-chan bias into consideration, this is such an amazing movie that it ranks among the greats (and is one of the highest ranked anime films in japan fun fact)
