While some shots WERE 16:9 cropped to 4:3, many shots are actually cropped FROM 4:3 in the 16:9 version, meaning the 4:3 version is partially open matte.

@nescartridges I think my main issue with the older design is how it's almost never been translated into 3D well at all, the low poly PS1 models look fine, but stuff like Wrath of Cortex and ESPECIALLY N-Sane show to me that you REALLY need to take care putting this model in 3D
